The membrane-covered amperometric sensor measures the total chlorine concentration in water and derives "free chlorine" and "combined chlorine" (e.g. chloramine) from inorganic chlorination products (chlorine gas, hypochlorite, etc.). Can only be used in drinking water or pool water.
